Tibet 2007

This year's trip started with the celebration of the Tibetan New Year in February, followed by a series of trips to Western Kham.  With my friend, Mary, I bought an apartment and fixed it up nicely.

At the end of May, I took a train to Xining to see my friends and students in Qinghai and Gansu.  While there, I attended Xire's three-day traditional Tibetan wedding.

At the end of May, I returned to Sichuan see kids around Batang, finishing up in July with a trips to Chengdu, Bamei and Pembuxi.

I packed my bags in Kangding on July 27 and departed Beijing on July 31.  I had enjoyed good health, good friends and a good time.
